Summer Katz said, “As the Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacy’s patient advocate,
a professional therapist and as a CF patient myself, I have spoken with
countless CF patients and families who’ve experienced a lot of stress,
fears and frustrations concerning all the uncertainties associated with
cystic fibrosis. Many have a growing sense of isolation and loneliness
because they feel that they’re all alone in trying to navigate the continuous,
often overwhelming circumstances of this diagnosis.

If you’re looking to interact with others who can relate and are searching
for supportive resources to help experience a better quality of life, I welcome
you to participate in the CF Connections Virtual Support Group. This online
group was created to encourage and guide healthy interaction with others
who have similar experiences, all while providing a safe, easy-to-access
support group.”

Please contact me for more info. or assistance with logging into the support
group. Call (407) 733-2110 or email: katzs@hhcs.com.

This group is provided for informational & supportive purposes only. It should
not be used as a substitute for professional mental health or medical treatment.
